Today is world rabies day. This summer we submitted 3 bats from pet owners that were found interacting with their pets. 2 of the 3 tested positive for rabies when they were submitted. Chase is diabetic. He’s a little hard to do blood glucose curves on, so today we implanted a CGM (constant glucose monitor). They can last up to 2 weeks.
