A peek inside.....we've expanded and now have 2 dental hygiene rooms to allow for more options when booking your appointments also great for families to book appointments simultaneously. In addition we have installed a continuous fresh air HVAC system with HEPA filter in both rooms which replaces the air every 5-10 minutes with fresh outside air. We have all the additional covid-19 safety protocols & ...precautions in place to keep you safe during your dental hygiene appointment including staggered appointment times whenever possible. 2020 was a struggle for all of us, and we were very sad that we weren't able to go on our yearly volunteer dental hygiene mission to Nootka Sound to provide acc...ess to care for the communities that we visit each year. At Share a Smile Society, we had hoped that 2021 would allow for travel so that we could get back to helping the communities we didn't get the opportunity to visit last year. But, it seems that due to COVID-19 we unfortunately may have to wait until 2022. This April, which is Oral Health Month, and for National Dental Hygienists Week, we will be providing no or low cost dental services from our local communities. OMG.... I'm exhausted but we did it! Today was our first operational clinic day at our new location just around the corner at 224 Milton street. We've expanded ...to include two clinic rooms and installed a fresh air heat recovery system so we clear the air in the rooms quickly without having to have the windows open......nicer these days with the cooler temperatures. THANK YOU TO EVERYONE!! This marks the end of National Dental Hygiene week and purple is the official color of dental hygienists everywhere so this is from all ...of us out there who are doing our part to stop the spread of Covid-19 by closing our dental hygiene practices and stopping non-essential services. THANK YOU to EVERYONE who is doing their part during this pandemic including of course our front line workers but also everyone who is keeping their physical distance whilst being patient with all of the changes we've had to make to accommodate said physical distancing.......to people everywhere who are washing their hands often, not touching their face with unclean hands and fingers and who are staying home if they are sick. To people everywhere who are helping their neighbours and those who are vulnerable.......to large and small businesses everywhere who have been creative in the ways that they can safely deliver services........to small businesses and health professionals everywhere that have closed their doors to non-essential services and to everyone else who is doing their part. We all deserve a BIG THANK YOU for helping to control the spread of Covid-19.

If you have recently traveled outside of Canada - PLEASE self-isolate for a 14 day period once you return home and reschedule any appointments until after that time or 24 hours after your symptoms have completely disappeared.
