Harbour Mill Design

Lately I’ve been dreaming a lot of memories of travel, new adventures and sunshine - this was trail riding in vineyards last year in Napa right before COVID locked us in. Sunshine streaming across those rolling hills never looked so good and the Californian wine never tasted so smooth Where was the last place you got to travel before we were locked down?

I heard a rumour that pandemic consumer habits are being defined by 3 P’s - property, peloton and puppies. Well we’ve joined the party during the second lockdown and got a companion for our dog Lola. Lucy came to us this last weekend and has filled the home with so much joy and love She’s currently a 10lbs ball of fluff and is helping me on my mission to get a new rug for the family room (although it won’t be anytime soon ). ... The kids are doing great with the new responsibility and she’s been a welcome distraction to the fact we have to stay home for now anyway. It makes me curious though, is anyone else jumping on board with one of the 3 Ps this lockdown?

Opening up the year with a few new projects that I am very excited to be part of. With every project comes new challenges to solve, function solutions to create and lives to enhance. One of my absolute favourite parts of the job is that no project or client is the same, so we’re always thinking in new ways and tailoring our design experience to fit our client’s needs. Exciting news for 2021... Our family is growing... in the furry kind of way We’re starting the new year off in the best (or craziest) way we can think of with a new addition to the family. Our 5 year old Bernese Mountain Dog Lola is getting a baby sister (or becoming a mom if you ask my daughter). ... Lucy should be coming home in a couple weeks and we are excited to see how she’ll interact with each of the kids and Lola. We’re a little less excited for the messes and sleep training we’ll have to go through, but that’s just part of the journey. I’m not sure we completely know what we’re getting ourselves into but it should be a wild ride Anyone with 2 dogs... pass on all the advice please! How are you planning to start the new year off? Anyone else trying to take a few days to unwind before 2021 hits? Typically a new year brings a lot of anticipation, goal setting and optimism for me. This year there seems to be a lot more uncertainty. Are the kids heading back to school? What delays will I be looking at for projects or product delivery?
