Hooray for glow necklaces! In addition to a bunch of paper led lanterns, I've purchased a rather large number of glow necklaces to sell on Friday night, and help draw the crowd over to our market. I like things that glow (and sparkle, and twinkle, and shine...maybe I was a crow in a past life?).

Oh my word, it is going to be BUSY in Midland on Saturday! In addition to Tugfest, we have the 5th annual ArtWalk happening in our downtown. This annual celebration of the arts is organized by Huronia Foundation for the Arts; there's always lots of great entertainment and artisan vendors to check out at this event. Between our two markets, there's going to be a LOT of outdoor vendors in Midland (and the really cool artsy kind, not flea-markety types).
