We have taken the plaid challenge , spread the word. Since plaid is a big theme of the United Way of Peterborough & District in Peterborough this year, I thought it would be fun as Chair of the campaign to issue a challenge to friends, family, businesses, organizations & sports teams in the community, while raising further awareness about UW Ptbo. I'll simply call it "The Plaid Challenge", and here's how it works: 1. Take a picture of yourself wearing plaid of some kind with... your family, friends, colleagues, teammates or alone. 2. Post it to Facebook, tag United Way of Peterborough & District with the picture of you/your family/group wearing plaid, and mention you took the "Plaid Challenge" for United Way of Ptbo. When you post it, tag a couple friends/colleagues locally and ask them to take The Plaid Challenge, too! **Also, please text "UWPTBO to 20222" (we did!) on your mobile phone when you do the #ThePlaidChallenge, and your $20 donation will all go back to the http://www.uwpeterborough.ca/ to have an impact in this community with our partner agencies!
