After months of having absolutely no meetings, we can finally have one! This Sunday June 14th at 1pm.

Past Provincial President Joan Turner 1947-2020 PPP Joan was born in Kingston Ontario on Sept 15, 1947, the oldest of four children. They later moved to Chapeau Quebec where she met and married Andy Turner on Sept 18, 1965. Andy and Joan moved to Edmonton in 1985. They have four children, Debbie, Grant, Leanne, and Erin. Joan has 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Who she enjoyed spending time with. PPP Joan joined Edmonton Lodge #22 in December of 1998 and started ...her way through the chairs as Historian in 2000 making her way to HRL in 2004. PPP Joan was elected as District Deputy in 2005 for District #9 and held that position for 2 years. In 2008 she was elected Provincial Conductress and made her way through the chairs until being elected Provincial President in 2013. Her theme for the year was Believe; Joan believed anything was possible if you believed in it. PPP Joan stayed on the provincial working on committees. PPP Joan was elected for a second term as provincial president in 2017. For the last 6 years PPP Joan and the members of Edmonton #22 were proud to join the Barrhead Elks the first Sunday of Dec. to have the Memorial service for all of our departed members. PPP Joan held the position of Treasurer in Edmonton #22 until her passing on May 20/2020 . Past Provincial President Joan will be missed by all that knew and loved her. Rest in Peace Joan. The book of Life is closed For those we loved so well, But the kindly tales of years well spent Are what the pages tell. The Ladies met on Thursday May 17th at The Leaf for annual supper out with a quick meeting afterwords. It was decided to have Beef on Bun & Strawberry Shortcake on Friday July 20th, in conjunction with the 70th Rodeo

The Alberta Royal Purple Lodges Association Society is dedicated to working together with Members to improve the future of the Royal Purple by: Creating an extended environment for leadership development Providing further training for future leaders of the Order Providing increased unity throughout the Order Dealing with concerns on a Provincial level... Our national symbol is the Pansy. It was chosen since it can be found throughout Canada and means "pleasant thoughts". When you see a pansy think of us and the work we do!

Meetings are every 3rd Thursday of the Month. Meetings start around 7-7:30pm. There is no meetings in July & August
