Hard Knocks drum co. proudly hails from Nova Scotia Canada. Drawing on many years experience working with drums we at Hard Knocks are driven to build the highest quality and best sounding snare drums possible.Each one of our drums are meticulously handcrafted one at a time assuring no details are overlooked.We do not out source any of our shells like some companies,all of our shells are made in house from scratch. Our wood veneers are sourced from maple trees grown in the far... north of Canada where the winters are very long and cold resulting in tighter growth rings which produces denser much more acoustically sound veneer ideal for drum making.After experimenting with different veneer lineups we discovered that thicker veneers not only use less glue but produce a more solid wood shell that is unique but more importantly sounds the best.
