We thought it would be a great way to start out National Coaches Week by recognizing our head coach Robert Holmgren. Rob is a NCCP level 3 trained coach with over 25 years of cycling coaching experience. Rob started out cycling as a means of transportation in the Laurentians and quickly discovered the joys of off roading adventures. With a BSc. in Kinesiology, Rob has the education and intellect to incorporate science into the art of training. Rob has coached many champions o...ver the years, including mtb and cx provincial and national champions as well as 2 tour de la releve de Rimouski champions on the road. He has supported many athletes at both cyclocross and mtb World Championships over the years. Rob has coached all levels of cyclists from beginner to elite, squirt to master. He is known for his technical expertise, his ability to have athletes push their limits in a fun training environment and his commitment to ensuring every athlete realizes personal gains. Rob has a passion for cycling that is immeasurable and his goal is to share the love of this sport with everyone around him. This team is so grateful for such a dedicated leader and an awesome coach!
