Meet your Lawyer- Candace Hardy Candace has been practicing as a family lawyer in Barrie and surrounding areas for over seven years now. She is a member of the Simcoe County Family Law Lawyer's Associate, the Simcoe County Law Association, the Law Society of Ontario and is actively involved in the community. Candace holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in psychology and sociology, which she received from Lakehead University in Thunder Bay, Ontario. She then attended the University o...f Manitoba where she graduated with a Juris Doctor. While at Law School, Candace was very involved in volunteer work, which included working at an on-campus Legal Clinic with Pro Bono Student's Canada. Candace has always had a strong passion for Family Law, and strives to assist and represent her clients to the highest standards with a Settlement based approach. She is compassionate and understands that dealing with the breakdown of any relationship can be very difficult at times. Candace is experienced in many areas of family law including Child and Spousal Support, Property Division, Custody and Access, as well as issues relating to Common Law relationships. She is also experienced in negotiating settlements and handles all matters in a confidential and professional manner.
