This week we are excited to welcome dancers auditioning for our Teaching Training Program. The intensive, three-year program was designed by Johanne Gingras to ...support aspiring dance educators with the skills and knowledge to help teach future generations of dancers and provide valuable opportunities to work the RWB Company. Graduates from the program boast an impressive 100% employment success rate. Normally, we would have hosted our annual Teacher Training Workshop this month, which we hope to offer once more in 2021. "The comradery, ideas and professional development that is fostered over the course of one week always allows me to go back into the studio refreshed and inspired and I’ll will miss everyone," says Teacher Training Program Director, Johanne Gingras. Entrance to our Teacher Training Program is by audition only; you can learn more on our website at http://ow.ly/V5H450AIszG : RWB School Artistic Faculty and Students, 2017, Photo by Kristen Sawatzky

It is a blessing to work and to train in a city as dynamic as Winnipeg. With a vibrant arts and culture scene; excellent global cuisines; world class museums an...d art galleries; and just a short drive to various beaches, parks, and campgrounds, there is no shortage of ways to stay entertained. To give you a sense of what we mean, we tasked some of our Company dancers to show off one of their favourite local attraction. Whether you are a longtime resident, new to the city, a former Winnipegger living abroad, or still looking to make the move, we hope this video shows you what our fair city is made of. (In order of appearance: Stephan Azulay, Michel Lavoie, Liam Caines, Yayoi Ban, and Jaimi Deleau)
