Stormy enjoyed his treatment once his testosterone settled down. I concentrated on releasing tension in his hind end. Im hoping his tail set will come back up once he can relax his back end!!

Little Stormy has come such a long way since I met him less than a month ago. He could hardly get up and move when Brenda Spanier took him in. His life force energy has increased immensely.

When a horse releases tension in their body they often lick and chew, shake their heads, snort, rub nose on leg as shown in previous post, stretch around and scratch their side, release gas, poop, urinate and yawn. They may do one or two of these things or sometimes I have witnessed all of the above in one session. I was able to catch some of Fleetwood reactions to a 10 minute session focused just on the injury area. Please feel free to ask any questions about his recovery, I am happy to share our journey.

As some of you know my beautiful Fleetwood injured his leg in September. It has been a long haul of healing over the winter taking a lot of commitment, support from Dwight Beynon, amazing care from Dr Crystal Lee at Burwash Equine Vet clinic and a lesson in patience. I have worked on him with my tuning forks, Reiki and Masterson Equine Massage method techniques I am currently learning. Everything and everyone together has given this guy the chance he deserves. I have recently..., 3 days now, stopped bandaging him and some swelling has shown up. I feel the bandaging was acting like a compression stocking. Again using light touch methods and my forks ect the swelling has decreased by half in 2 days. More Stormy! The tuning forks add vibration where it is needed to help release tension. I was working on this fellas withers. Horses show release by licking and chewing, head shaking and yawning along with some other signs!

I had the pleasure to help Stormy the mini and Pippen pony today. Stormys manly vibrations were obviously raised, so great to see considering he was a sad little man on Friday before Brenda Spanier welcomed him into her home. I used my tuning forks today to help both these little gems!!

I have been sitting quietly lately due to recovery of a broken wrist that happened on Family Day followed by surgery. Shortly after all of the Virus chaos started. There are so many different opinions, perspectives and information out there. I meditate and pray daily and I am trying to stay grounded by being outside with my horses more. Talking to my family members that live in BC to check in on their well being. Staying connected to friends and family that live close. We are all doing the best we can for what is being asked of us. One thing for sure is we are learning how to go back to basics and be grateful for what we have. I send love and light to the universe daily. I hope everyone is well! One day at a time is something I have tried to live by through personal difficult times in the past and now!!
