Sending some to our ! Bees dont hibernate in cold temperatures.... they cluster and continue to look after the Queen and perhaps a bit of brood... baby bees. It is the honey and stored pollen in the hive that keeps them nourished. Longer, severe temperatures can essentially starve a hive that still has food.... they just cant move over for it. Harmony Hills wraps our hives for winter to help insulate from these long BC winters. Climate change is real and looking after bees has never been as challenging as it is today .
