Kapalbhati Pranayama is the excellent pranayama to cure and control diabetes. Those having high diabetes should practice for 10 30 minutes daily in the morning and evening on an empty stomach. High blood pressure and heart patient should practice slowly. 3 exhalation in 6 seconds only. In market there are medicines to control only blood sugar but there is no medicine to improve the function of the pancreas which produces the right amount of insulin. Daily practice of kapalbhati improves the function and strength of the pancreas. It regenerates the beta cell of the pancreas. Regular practice cures diabetes also. Yes without medicines you can do this by effective Kapalbhati pranayama breathing exercise. You will notice in 15 minutes that your sugar level starts decreasing immediately. Try it regularly.

In the ancient times, Yoga was referred as a tree with roots, trunk, branches, blossoms and fruits. Each branch has unique characteristics and represents a specific approach to life. These are: Hatha Yoga - physical and mental branch - involves asana and pranayama (breathing) practice - prepares the body and mind Raja Yoga - meditation and strict adherence to the "Eight Limbs of Yoga"... Karma Yoga - path to consciously create a future free from negativity and selfishness caused by our actions Bhakti Yoga - path of devotion - a positive way of channeling emotions and cultivating acceptance and tolerance Jnana Yoga - wisdom, the path of the scholar and (gather) intellect through study Tantra Yoga - pathway of ritual(s).

The 'eight limbs of yoga' Raja yoga is traditionally referred to as ashtanga (eight-limbed) yoga, because there are eight aspects to the path to which one must attend. The eight limbs of ashtanga yoga are: 1. Yama - ethical standards and sense of integrity. ... The five yamas are: ahimsa (nonviolence), satya (truthfulness), asteya (non- stealing), brahmacharya (continence) and aparigraha (non- covetousness) 2. Niyama - self-discipline and spiritual observances, meditation practices, contemplative walks. The five niyamas are: saucha (cleanliness), samtosa (contentment), tapas (heat, spiritual austerities), svadhyaya (study of sacred scriptures and of one's self) and isvara pranidhana (surrender to God) 3. Asana - integration of mind and body through physical activity 4. Pranayama- regulation of breath leading to integration of mind and body 5. Pratyahara - withdrawal of the senses of perception, the external world and outside stimuli 6. Dharana - concentration, one-pointedness of mind 7. Dhyana - meditation or contemplation - an uninterrupted flow of concentration 8. Samadhi - the quiet state of blissful awareness.
