Are you familiar with the Greenwood Retirement Communities Education Fund? Every year Greenwood awards as many as 10 scholarships of up to $2,500 each to employees and/or their immediate family members to offset tuition and associated costs for either college or university. Here at Harmony Hill we are so proud and excited to announce that Danielle in our recreation department and Tristan, the son of one of our amazing PSWs, are both recipients of this generous fund. Congratulations to both of you!!
The sun is shining on this beautiful Fall day... take a peek at the sunshine inside at Harmony Hill as some of our residents take part in the afternoon Sing Along with Ivan and Ruth. Love the sound that fills Harmony Square!
We are excited to get our avid line dancers back on the dance floor with this 6-week professional class lead by Metta Dance instructor Nicole Cote. Once again, Gina has created the perfect environment where all participants are able to socially distance in their own spaces marked out on the floor. Thank goodness for all our glorious space in Harmony Square. We cannot wait to see the finale during week 6!! #SeniorsHealth
We are so happy that our dining room at Harmony Hill is open once again after many months of being closed. The team was so excited to see our residents happily enjoying dinner with their tablemates. Our chef prepared a delicious dinner to celebrate the occasion; Beef Tenderloin and shrimp with mashed potato pancakes and creamy hollandaise sauce. Other beloved amenities that are now open include: Our Bistro and the Pool!
Shout out to one of our newest residents who just became a great grandmother. Congratulations!!
To our panelists and all of you that joined us for a very informative discussion about what retirement living at Harmony Hill is all about... Thank You! It was heartwarming to hear first-hand how our residents feel about the staff, service, and what living on The Hill means to them . It was equally great seeing everyone enjoying the delicious homemade blueberry tarts and dancing with friends as we celebrated Harmony Hill's 5 Year Anniversary!!

Broadway hit Hamilton makes its debut on the rooftop patio at Harmony Hill. It was a beautiful night for a show under the stars, complete with fresh popped popcorn, ice tea, and good friends. Thanks everyone for a great night!
We are a little late with this post but wait until you see the pictures! Canada Day at Harmony Hill had everyone dancing, toe tapping and singing along with the band RED Corvette a local group who sure know how to get a crowd going with tunes from the 50’s and 60’s. They ended their set with a rousing rendition of O Canada. Great night with perfect weather! In the afternoon, Harmony Hill residents participated in a Celebration of all things Canada including a sing along, trivia and 10 defining moments in Canadian history. A BIG Thank You to Ivan, Ruth and Shirl who helped to plan the program.

Our Fathers day celebration on June 21st was a HOT success. It was a warm sunny day here on the Hill and our residents and their families enjoyed live music and visits in the sun! To celebrate the occasion the Chef served for dinner: Beef Tenderloin topped with Garlic cream cheese stuffed peppers by a side of Yukon mash with baby corn on the cob and broccoli. With a traditional lattice apple pie for dessert! Our Gentleman here also finished their special day with cold beer and pretzels! We hope you all had a very Happy Fathers Day!
Our first two Outdoor Concerts at Harmony Hill were a great success! Residents were able to experience the show while enjoying refreshing Lemonade during the performance yesterday afternoon! We are pleased to report as of May 19, all residents and staff at Harmony Hill tested NEGATIVE for COVID-19! Harmony Hill offers some relief, and a secure option for seniors. At Harmony Hill you do not need to worry about groceries and cooking, instead enjoy our home-cooked meals delivered to the comfort of your suite. Wellness checks, med...ications, and care services on-site will bring a level of safety not available at home. We are here for you 24-7. Enjoy some of our activities and amenities, but in smaller groups that facilitate appropriate distancing. We are a safe option. We want to help and support those who have a need. The public joined in to provide a wonderful, safe parade for the residents of the Harmony Hills Retirement Community. There were floats, clowns and other fantas...y characters that walked by the residents waving and playing music and mostly honking. This event was just a bit of normal during this challenging time for all of us during the COVID-19 pandemic. See more
