HBS Replacement Update! Today we toured WRCS with the architect for the HBS replacement building. Board Chair Kari Scheers, Trustee Stefanie Clark, Deputy Superintendent Darren Young, IT Director Darcy Bromling & Director of Facilities David Michalko did a walk through of our current school plan based on our committee’s feedback. MEDIA RELEASE, FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: April 7, 2021 COVID-19 cases confirmed at two PWPSD schools Grande Prairie, AB Peace Wapiti Public School Division (PWP...SD) is providing the following daily summary report of COVID-19 cases in schools for Wednesday, April 7, 2021. Out of respect for the individuals who tested positive for COVID-19, and in accordance with AHS guidelines, no further information will be shared about the cases. PWPSD and the affected schools wish the individuals a safe and speedy recovery, and will continue to work closely with AHS to ensure necessary measures are in place to protect all students and staff. Remote learning opportunities will be provided to any students isolating beyond Easter break. The affected schools have been disinfected. AHS is expected to provide all close contacts with further direction on testing and isolation instructions. Case report for Wednesday, April 7, 2021: A case at Harry Balfour School. The case was last in school on Thursday, April 1. Close contacts will isolate until Friday, April 16. The school has sent letters to their families. A case at Clairmont Community School. The case was last in school on Tuesday, March 30. All close contacts are already isolating until Wednesday, April 14 due to a previous case. HBS Valentines Day!

The school is looking for a pair of youth size 12 or 13 figure skates. We have some kiddos going skating next week and we are short a couple of those sizes. If anyone has some we can borrow or maybe even want to donate to the school that would be great.

Lost & Found is growing again. Here are some pictures of what we have collected so far. We will keep these items for another month and then donate them if not claimed. Let us know if you recognize something.

The battle was fierce in Mr. Groff’s humanities class today as students were battling opponent squads with 15 quiz questions they wrote about the Aztecs/Spanish. Answer an opponent's question and score a point.

Ms. Vigen kicked off 5V’s fractured fairytale unit with a fabulous art project.

Grade 1-3 PE with Mrs. Wolstenholme has started on their baskeball unit and it is so much fun! The future looks bright for Bengal Basketball!
