Here are some photos from our Space month! The children are learning so much and having a blast. We're discovering that art doesn't have to be made just sitting at a table and we've been experimenting with different ways to create art! Our room is FILLED with space art that our students have created.

Unfortunately as most know subs are hard to find and after many calls, we’ve had to make the decision to close for the next two days. We had such a lovely end to our week and preschool year!! The children had an absolute blast decorating their gingerbread houses and partaking in a picnic! Thank you so much to all our parents this year, we couldn’t do the things we do without you all! We look forward to an even better month in January!! WOOOW!!! Today was amazing!! In our classroom we are learning all about Community Helpers and the children got such a treat by having two parents come in to explain their jobs. Thank you to Curtis for coming in to explain what it means to be a Heavy Duty Mechanic and showing off the giant wrench!Thank you to Jake for coming in to explain what his job looks like as an Airplane Pilot for Air Canada and showing off his pilot’s uniform and plane! The children were so thrilled to listen and then explore our new mechanic shop!

Wow!! What an amazing first day of gingerbread building!!! The children had a blast decorating and loved getting to eat snack picnic style on blankets in the dark while they enjoyed a lovely holiday movie! We can’t wait for tomorrow! To all our families today, we’re wishing you a safe and happy holidays!! And thank you so much for all the thoughtful gifts, they are SOOO appreciated! See you in the new year!

Morning Families! Just wanted to send a little video on what our classroom currently looks like! We are starting community helpers this week and have a completely revamped the classes room! With lots of cars, and people to express the different community helpers that we have! As well as we have created a Mechanic Shop. We can not wait to see how the children explore our new excited classroom this week!

What a great week so far!! Our children are learning all about Veterans and Remembrance Day. They’re learning about why it’s important we remember and thank our veterans. They even built a thank you card that is beautifully displayed in our window. We’re also focusing on number 1, letter A, and our current shape focus is a circle! The children loved the new addition of an airplane to our dramatic play in preparation for a pilot presentation by a parent near the end of the month. This week was our last week in the gym until the new year, so please ensure your children are dressed for outdoor weather as we would like to go out into our yard alternating with our circle time days.
