After six months, we are reopening our doors for community use with COVID-19 precautions in place! If you're interested in renting, contact [email protected] or here on Facebook. Rules for renting (we're here to help):... 1. Determine if physical distancing of 2m can be maintained: If can: renter must remind all attending rental to self-screen (as per gnb.ca/coronavirus) If cannnot: a. an active record of those in attendance must be kept, along with active COVID-19 screening (screening as per gnb.ca/coronavirus). This is not required if all involved in the rental(s) are in the same social bubble. b. non-medical masks must be worn c. brief operational plan for mitigating risk (layout, cleaning plan) 2. Documentation provided to the HMCC on completion of rental indicating: cleaning of surfaces, washrooms, handles utilized (cleaning product provided) upon completion of rental time. 3. If a high flow of bidirectional traffic on stairs and entryway are anticipated, the entrance and exit for an event must be different

Please Share As a result of the evolving COVID-19 pandemic, the board of directors has made the proactive decision TO CLOSE the Harvey Memorial Community Centre to all leisure activity effective Monday, March 16, until further notice. This does not apply to Village Office or Best Beginnings at this time.... We apologize for the inconvenience, but the importance of social distancing as a tool to ‘flatten the curve’ is our focus. We suggest other community facilities consider a similar policy, in keeping with evolving public health guidelines.

Looks like we may be at the end of the season no skating today. Stay tuned for final announcement.
