I plan to once again support our Local Terry Fox Run. Though our London 2020 Terry Fox event is a Virtual Run fundraising effort this year I plan to go to Greenaway Park and run my usual 2 loops of 5 k. This year I will run alone. My target is $2,000. Today I invite all recipients to please pause and remember Terry Fox a remarkable young man. Terry changed the channel and began the long slow journey to teach us what ability really means. August 31, 2020 Sadly, as much as our Premier would like to come across as a man in charge, our communities are suffering under the yoke of earlier cuts they made to health care and education. Our children and our teachers are now test-tube experiments. If it does not end badly, we may be surprised and relieved. Schools should remain closed. Kids learn daily, and they do not need to be in school to do it. They will catch up any academic courses. This is about keeping people working not about educating children safely. I am no scientist, but the second wave of the virus is upon us as we speak. Our neighbours to the south are facing a calamity of death and a recession.
