Resident Kim Smith has been working very hard over the past few weeks to create a Tim Horton’s Window. Building the window was Kim’s idea to replicate what was seen done at H.J. McFarland Home, Picton. Sturdy, cardboard boxes were provided by Kim’s sister Debbie, in full support of the project. The Recreation Team at Hastings Manor will use the window to create a Tim Horton’s atmosphere, when offering Tim Horton socials, complete with Tim Horton’s tea, coffee, donuts and timbits for residents.

Flags have been lowered to half-mast in recognition of the passing of the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Phillip. Our condolences to the Queen and members of the Royal Family on your loss.

National Housing Day was virtually celebrated today at the County of Hastings over Microsoft Teams with over 100 attendees. We heard from a wide variety of presenters and many interesting videos. We hope everyone enjoyed the morning's session. Thank you to CMHC for your partnership on this event!
