Attention Students!

All of our staff at the Hastings Field House want to say thank you to our community for the month of operations at the Field House. Our community pulled together and helped create a safe environment for users to stay active on the track, fitness equipment, driving range, pickleball, and tennis. This was a true team effort in learning our online system, practicing social distancing, wearing masks and staying positive... again thank you! In accordance with the Provincial Lockdo...wn beginning on Dec 26th, the Hastings Field House, along with Campbellford and Warkworth arenas will be closing down until further notice effective at 12pm Thursday December 24th. If you pre-registered for an activity beyond Dec 24th it has been cancelled automatically. If you paid in advance for your activity your event will be refunded to your account and held as account credit, you will get an emailed receipt for this in the coming days. All memberships will be put on hold effective December 24th. We wish you a very safe and happy Christmas and Holiday season, and we can't wait to see you again when it is safe to do so.

ATTN Pickleballers! We will be moving to weekly registration for Pickleball for the month of January, which means Pickleball will be booked the same as Tennis. Bookings for Pickleball will begin Monday mornings at 9am for members, and Monday mornings at 12pm for non members, 2 weeks prior to the events. (Beginning this Monday!) You can use the same link on our website to sign up and everything else will remain the same. We are excited to announce that the Hastings Field House will be offering a 'soft-start' reopening on Tuesday, Dec 1st, 2020. Our hours will be 9am-4pm Monday-Friday and we will have a limited capacity for each activity, which will be available with online pre-registration. To honor our members, each membership that was valid on March 16th, 2020 has been automatically extended into the new year. We are now offering a monthly FULL facility membership for newcomers with a 20% ...discount when you use the code 'FIELDHOUSE20' at checkout online only. FIELDHOUSE UPDATE: The Field House remains closed for the remainder of the summer season. We are implementing strategies to safely re-open in the fall following a new ‘normal’ with protocols given to us under direction from the Province of Ontario and through the lense of safety for the staff and public. While our rec facilities have been shut down our staff have been and will remain hard at work making our facilities shine like new, work on building and equipment maintenance, prepare for green-space and most importantly (), our rec assistant has been testing out some NEW PROGRAMMING during her lunch break so we can come back better than ever as soon as we’re able to! Posted On Monday March 16, 2020 To help protect the health and safety of people in the community during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Municipality of Trent Hills is suspending operations of several municipal facilities and postponing planned meetings. Facilities including all Trent Hills Library locations, the Hastings Field House and Civic Centre and the arenas in Campbellford and Warkworth are now closed to the public.... Effective March 18, 2020, all municipal meetings are postponed until further notice. As a way to prevent the spread of illness, the public is encouraged to follow social distancing recommendations. Therefore, it is requested that residents use online and telephone services as well as the drop box at 66 Front Street South, Campbellford when possible to avoid in-person contact. For online services, please visit www.trenthills.ca. Enhanced cleaning protocols are continuing for all municipal facilities. Municipal staff are continuing to communicate with public health officials to monitor and assess the evolving situation related to COVID-19. Actions related COVID-19 may change as the situation evolves.

Effective at 5:00pm March 13th, 2020 the Municipality of Trent Hills has cancelled all municipal programs and classes in the Campbellford Arena, Warkworth Arena and the Hastings Field House due to global COVID-19 pandemic. These cancellations includes the following: - All Drop In March Break events... - All sponsored open skating time - Public skating - Parents and tots skating - Golf times - Open Pickleball times - Programmed fitness classes (i.e. Walk-Fit, Pilates, Stretch and Tone Classes) Currently all events that have been previously booked, such as shinny and sports court bookings, use of the walking track and fitness equipment will continue as normal until further notice. Effective immediately Trent Hills staff have increase sanitation protocols. We ask that individuals who are feeling unwell postpone their use of the facilities. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause as we take precautionary measures for public safety.
