Good morning, folks! Ready for announcement #2...? Here it is! We are happy to announce that our first LIVE THEATRE production "Ghost: Return to Mourning." This intimate and emotional production was written and performed by Deedra Salange Ladouceur. Directed by the wonderful Marshall Vielle, stage managed and designed by Kai Hall and featuring the musical direction and videography by Nick Bohle. This is an hour long production that touches on some very intimate and triggering... content. It's raw, real, revealing and touching. Theatre is losing a lot of steam with the restrictions placed on audiences and in order to have theatre survive we all must adapt for the time being. There have been some incredible and ingenious adaptations so far and we look forward to contributing to the journey. We've done our best to maintain the truest sense of theatre and we hope that you enjoy this new live theatre production. I was honoured to edit his new words in support of WMI and team up with the legend himself to support this timely and honourable cause. Here's a little more info... In late September HatChap Productions Inc. was approached by Jimi and Isaac Cohen, founders of the international non-profit, "WE MAKE IMPACT" to produce a short film introducing their organization to the world. WE MAKE IMPACT has the mission to bring clean water to millions of people and jump start an entrepreneurial tidal wave to replenish and nourish Africa's land and economy. They have developed ingenious BioSand water filters which help turn rancid water, clean. Jimi and Isaac are currently on the ground in Africa training the first wave of WE MAKE IMPACT entrepreneurs so that they can begin to bring clean water access and a route out of poverty to millions and millions of people. Over the course of the last 2 months HatChap Productions Inc. wrote and developed a script, coordinated with an Oscar nominated filmmaker from KENYA, officials from UGANDA, and saw active sets in multiple African countries, including Nairobi. What an honour and a whirlwind!! The momentum behind this wonderful organization just continues to grow. Today is the day! Back from the Dead by DEAD ARMY premieres on YouTube and Telus. Link in Bio. This was such an intense, exhilarating, educational and humbling experience. So many beautiful and talented souls put a ton of work and passion into this project and Im incredibly grateful to each and every one of my team members for their time, energy and love. . . . This was my directorial, (co)writing and (co)producing debut in the media arts. I learned many invaluable lesson...s and refined my approach to my craft. There were many successes and many failures, all of which have contributed to a new outlook and a higher standard. Im eager for the next steps. . . .
