I would like to apologize to all of those who have shown interest in my upcoming book, HAVE NO REGRETS!! A Guide to Making Informed Choices in Obtaining the Most Appropriate Mobility Scooter. The book writing and publishing process is much more complicated and is taking much longer than I had hoped, partially due to finances but also the fact I am somewhat technologically challenged. Just the same, I have not given up, and in fact I now have a basic website for the book. ...If you are interested in taking a look at it, you can view it at http://www.connielnelson.ca. It needs some tweeks I realize, but I will do those once I am ready to have the book printed, and ready to sell. The wonderful thing is that I have just been told about a much less expensive and less complicated way of producing and printing the book, so that people can order it, but have to find out more details from my mentor, but also follow through on getting what I have written into a 6" x 9" book template. Please don't give up on me, as I am determined to finish this self-help book, so that people can not only learn how to go about choosing an appropriate mobility scooter and possibly applying for funding, but also having a few laughs and inspirations along the way! Thank you so much to everyone who has been doing searches for the information that I plan to provide in my book, HAVE NO REGREST, and thank you so much for your patience and diligence. I apologize to everyone who has been inquiring about HAVE NO REGRETS, and receiving no response from me. I have actually developed a website specifically for my book, but it still requires some tweaks and corrections. You are welcome to take a look at it, but please keep in mind of the above.... Publishing my book has been delayed somewhat, for personal reasons, but I have every intention of finishing it and following it through on offering consulting and speaking services in the future. I strongly believe the information in my book needs to get out to people, to assist them in choosing the correct scooter for their specific physical, residential, and usage needs, so they have no regrets. Choosing an appropriate mobility scooter is more complicated than people realize, and I want to let everyone know that I am available to consult with people who require them, or their families, to make sure the person living with the physical disabiliity obtains the most appropriate scooter for their partcicular needs. For example: I know one person who is 6'9" tall and weighs 450lbs and I know another person who is 3-1/2 feet tall and weighs less than 100lbs.. Needless to say, on that fact alone, the 2 require a differenrt mobility device, but there are many other factors to be taken into account as well, and not just price. I want to try my best to make sure that people have NO REGRETS! and that they Make Informed Choices to Obtain the Most Appropriate Mobility Scooter, as per my book of the same name.
