Out of the little black dress there is some nice grain showing

Sad to see this rocker go The settee and this rocker are my most special projects so far Weaving was so special with wood pegs and the stitching.

Painted grain chairs: one had a broken hip in three places the other had a broken seat

Sturdy yet graceful set of love seat, arm chair and rocker . Looks like elm underneath the old finish . From brown top coat to the red stain (in which the chair probably was dipped) and then at last the real grain . Going now to Junger's upholstery to be redone with dark red leather .
