The Havelock Lions Club - Ontario put on another fantastic Santa Claus Parade despite the Covid restrictions. Judging by the line up of cars this year's parade was a great success!

Christmas has arrived at The Cottage

I know what you're thinking...you put the sign in the wrong spot! The rest of our sign is coming soon. Much like everything else. Speaking of soon, we will be... open very soon. On Friday! Ahhh! There is a chance we won't be able to open to the public on Friday and we won't be able to confirm until the end of the day Thursday. We're baking one way or another. The starters are already going and pumpkins roasting. So here's the deal: Menu for Friday and Saturday will be released sometime tomorrow on our website wildflowerbakery.ca Orders by phone only beginning on Thursday when the bakery number will be released. We will be open Friday morning and Saturday at 8am. We will probably sell out quickly both days. But we will stay open later for preorders. More details tomorrow when the menu is revealed.

Santa would never turn down a date with his favourite Community! Join us for our 1st ever Drive-by Santa Claus parade Dec 12th, 6pm-8pm @ the H.B.M Community Centre. Cars will enter on George St, circle the track, admire the stationary floats, wave to Santa and exit on king. No entry fee, no prizes this yearThe lions will be collecting non-perishable food items for the food bank. C19 restrictions in effect. Floats must pre-register by email to the [email protected]. We are speechless...this weekend someone destroyed two of our outdoor learning spaces-cutting and tearing down sunshades and pulling out posts that held them up.

2020 has been a difficult year and our Annual Fish Fry was no different.. Covid Restrictions and an unexpected fish shortage definitely sent us a bit sideways(Normally have 100lbs of fish..Covid gave us 80lbs). To the people we turned away.. Our deepest apologies. Won't happen again. Back up plan - even if we serve deep fried pancakes Thank you to the 200 folks that made it out.. Hope it was as delicious as it was leaving the fryer. Big shout out to Sarah G, Sarah R, Stapes, Ashley and all the Lions in attendance. See ya next year! #havelock #learningcurve
