I know a lot of you do not like mega volume, but for those who do, here’s a mega volume set! This is a client who is also a friend of mine @lashesbymazal . This is someone who has challenged me, and taught me some things. Fortunately, she finally let me style her eyes in a way that was out of her comfort zone, and turns out, she loved it!... I wanted to do something that suited her eyes best with mega volume. Using D curl, 7-9D fans, and purposely leaving it uneven (not to go too much out of her comfort zone) See more

I’m not going to lie, I was very excited to post this one, and proud of it too! Every single time I attempt this style, my technique improves. I review my mistakes and what could be ameliorated for next time, and so on! I’m finally beginning to understand what is needed in order to create the perfect ‘bordeaux’ set. And let me tell you, there is a whole lot of ‘perfect’ needed! It is essentially quite simple, yet rather complicated at the same time.... You MUST work vigorously in order to attain the perfect result. This is a lengthy process; it took about 3.5 hours per eye. If I would have more thoroughly and perfectly applied it, it would have taken twice the time! Here, it was extremely close to perfect, but not quite but that’s okay, cause there w i l l definitely be a next time! I now know what needs to be improved. This is exactly why we say that practice makes perfect. Similar to Math, Science, Hair Styling, and any other area of expertise one is able to perfect! I do have to give credit to @revolashion for teaching me how to do this. She is an incredible teacher. Thank you Moral of the story Never give up. You will get there! When your beautiful client asks for 9mm, you jump up and down from excitement Lash extensions can be done in various styles, diameters and lengths.... My client here, asked for short and full! I am working on building a classic and volume course, solely in my area at the moment, and will be starting with private trainings only. I have not thought of a release date yet, considering that this is a lengthy process. Although, I still wanted to share this with you guys ahead of time! I feel like myself again a common sentence used after a fill. Do you say this after your fill, as well? Ha! I sure do! My client underwent a mini lash rehab, but now, she is back! Lashes be fleekin’. The next fill will roughly be back to 100% of the normal set she initially requested.... We filled the lower lashes using volume 4-5D, and the top layer, applying classics (0.15). Stop right there! I’d like to talk a little bit about lash rehabs. Yes. You heard right. What’s that you may ask? There could never be a sufficient amount of posts on this topic!Personally, I think that reminding your followers/viewers about lash health is crucial as there will always be new ones! So let us get right into it. What is ‘Lash Rehab’? Simply put, it is when one goes through an unfortunate experience with a technician, such as the care...less application of their lash extensions. This is when we, being the well educated technicians, come into play. Instead of giving your lashes ‘a break’, we still apply the extensions, although only the ones which your current state of lashes will be able to handle, ones with little weight and effect to your natural ones. Thus, offering a breather from the heaviness they just underwent, while leaving some additional space for those new babies to grow, as well. Natural lashes don’t all grow simultaneously! They grow at their own pace, which is why it is pivotal to keep a knowledgeable technician who is aware of the importance of your lash cycles. This type of application is suitable for those who feel ‘naked’ without their extensions. Am I right ladies? This lash rehab really does wonders! As i have repeatedly mentioned in my previous posts, lash extensions are NOT supposed to damage your lashes unless applied incorrectly. This client had gone through some subpar experiences with other technicians. Therefore, I felt the need to speak on this. Unfortunately, it is very difficult for clients to see how carelessly placed their lashes are until they already have them on. Thankfully, she had not waited too long to say enough is enough! After a single fill, her lashes are now beginning to look healthier and we are almost the exact place we want to be at. The look we want to acquire is Wispy. Can you see the wispiness? Absolutely love when my clients fall asleep during their appointments. Less chit chat = More lashing time. Also, speak during appointment causes our cheeks to move up and down, and again causing the patches/tapes to move upward towards the eyeball ouch! ... Speaking can promote eye twitching as well, causing the natural lashes to dance around, which makes it a little more difficult to work with.
