Painting update: The company has offered to complete the job to my satisfaction at no further cost to me (I put down a 50% deposit). They sent over a supervisor who got everything in much better shape. However, somebody at the office decided at the beginning of the job to try to cut corners and save on paint cost. So rather than just make the paint fresh in the color I specified, they used another color that they thought was the same. It is not. It is darker and more blue. ...They ran out of that paint and when doing touch ups began using the actual paint I chose... and basically f*d up everything they fixed. Short story: in order to save 40-60$ they ended costing themselves easily over $1000 + in extra labour and materials. They are still not done... Don’t be cheap, prepare properly, and do it right the first time. #renovation #victorianhouse #interiorpainting #disaster
