COVID-19 Update from Hawaiian Nails Tuesday, March 17, 2020 ... We would like to reach out to all clients & staff to update you on the very strict changes we have implemented at Hawaiian Nails. We know and understand that COVID-19 is a very serious matter. We are doing everything we can to ensure your time at the salon is calm and safe! We have made the following changes to minimize everyone's risk: We are discouraging walk-ins at this time and until this crisis is resolved and we may not be able to accommodate all appointment requests as we need to space out our clients to keep everyone safe - please call ahead - we’re looking forward to seeing The entire business has been sanitized. Everything a human can touch has been cleaned with hospital grade disinfectant. We have designated one staff member each day to continually stay on top of this task. Every client and staff member who enters the salon must immediately wash their hands. As always, staff members will wash their hands regularly and between client contact. We insist that if you or someone in your household has traveled out of the country and is on 14-day self-isolation, please DO NOT come into the salon. If you have an appointment, please cancel it by calling us at 403.686.2338 If you or someone in your household has a cold or flu, please DO NOT come into the salon. If one of our staff members has any of the above issues you may be called to reschedule your services with us, or you will be offered to have your services with another service provider. While we don’t have a 24-hour cancellation policy, we DO ask that you please take the time to cancel your services with us with as much advance notice as possible. You can do this by phone, do not simply "not show up". With respect, there is a service provider here waiting and expecting you. We have cut back on the number of people in the salon at one time. Less staff and fewer client appointments to minimize human contact. This will allow our team time to take additional time to fully sanitize between clients as we have always done but with more emphasis on all surfaces. All magazines are removed from use. We will not be serving tea or coffee but will continue to provide bottled water. Our nail technicians and aesthetician will be wearing a surgical mask and possibly gloves. These will minimize the spread of airborne particles. If at any time you wish to wear a mask, simply ask. We are happy to make that happen.
