NEW RULES ON ENTERING THE HAWKESBURY ROYAL CANADIN LEGION NOW THAT WE ARE IN AN ORANGE ZONE

Hawkesbury Legion 16.10.2020

The Hawkesbury Royal Canadian Legion had members voluntering to assist Delta -Bingo Gaming durning Bingo games. This was a great source of revenue for our Legion. Ever since the outbreak of Covid -19 the Bingo Hall has been closed for Bingo. However the gaming machines in the front lobby have been open since July. The Delta-Bingo-Gaming continue to give the Legion monthly donations. Without their support we may have closed our doors. We are very grateful for their support and together we will get through this.

War Horses: Highly trained, and against all their instincts, these horses will lay still during a battle. This is an example of incredible trust and bond betwe...en man and animal. THANK YOU to our Veterans 2 legged and 4 legged for your service. (first shared on our page in 2014, has since gone viral but still do not know the photo origination) See more

The Legion is very grateful to the Hawkesbury Rotary Club for providing delicious lunches to all our Veterans and members later at the Hall served by Jeanne Charlebois, Suzanne Nault and Les Gann. The Asselin Independent for donating beautiful poppy cupcakes . Thanks to Shirley Hume for taking and sharing these beautiful photos in Hawkesbury and Stan Tesher for providing the Alfred photos.
