All I can say is WOW!!!! What an amazing morning! HUGE thank you to MP Mike Kelloway, Minister Geoff MacLellan, Minister Derek Mombourquette, and CBRM Councillor Darren Bruckschwaiger for their beautiful words this morning. We are truly humbled by the support not only of all levels of government but of our whole CBRM community and beyond. It has been an amazing year and a half and we are now at $1,000,000 and ready begin phase 1 of seeing our Hawks Dream Field become a re...ality!!! I literally did have a five page essay of thank you's to say this morning and of course I couldn't do that LOL So in general, thank you so much to absolutely everyone who has helped us get to where we are today!!! Special thanks to @Marcie Shwery-Stanley for her guidance, support and advocacy throughout this process. We also want to say a special thanks to former Mayor Cecil Clarke and to former Premier Stephen McNeil, both of whom were on board and supporting this project from the get go. We would like to thank Mayor Amanda MacDougall and Councillors (current and past) for their unwavering support. We will keep sweet baby Emmett in our prayers for a speedy recovery. We are always taking donations for the wall either "in honor of" or "in memory of" a loved one. Well we at the Hawks Dream Field Society had an amazing weekend delivering Hecky's Hug-o-Grams to some very well-deserving folks! Laurelle Saccary's beautiful daughter Layne certainly loves hers!! Thanks for the beautiful picture Layne! We would love to see lots of photos of folks with their Hug-o-grams so please share if you have some! Happy Valentine's Day to everyone and a very special Happy Birthday to two of our team members , my Mom, Toni McNeil, and my awesome buddy Duck Ellsworth!

On behalf of the Hawks Dream Field Society I want to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas and a happy, health and safe New Year! It's been a tough one but we know that 2021 will be much better, especially when we break ground on the new field! Take care everyone.
