It's been SO busy that we haven't publicly congratulated our 2020 Regenerative Farming Certificate program interns. They wrapped up their time with us last Friday, and we were able to celebrate their beautiful and productive accomplishments with a chili feast, friends, gifts, and certificates. We hope and trust that none will be strangers, and that they'll carry all of their learning forward down whatever path they follow. CONGRATULATIONS CLASS OF 2020!

As we get rollin with our weekly veggie shares, we are looking for some containers to help us portion some of our tasty, tasty veg and fruit. If you have any clean 250ml or 500ml containers - think sour cream or yogurt (ideally with lids) we would love to have them. Let us know and we can arrange a drop off.

"Investing in community farms can help strengthen local food systems, while securing farmland that may otherwise be threatened by development. Keeping green spaces alive, healthy and productive within communities is a benefit that everyone can enjoy. Our core team is really strong and quite diverse, but were still [only] a group of between six and eight. Bringing in community members to help envision what the farm can be, and contribute to ideas and decision-making on a high level will help to guide us. We only represent a certain perspective, and a few demographics of what our community is and what our community needs. Hayes Farm in Fredericton aims to create a community farm model and template that can be easily adopted and adapted in other areas.

"Tired hands and muddy boots are the new reality for the dedicated trainees in the 18-week Regenerative Farming Certificate (RFC) program at Hayes Farm in Fredericton. One of the best things about the RFC program at Hayes Farm is that it brings people together who may not have met otherwise. It gives people a space to connect with others who have similar interests and passions, as well as learn important lessons that go beyond growing food."
