Update: Due to today’s announcement of stay-at-home orders, all January ( probably February too) appointments are CANCELLED. Just assume if you had an appointment booked during this month or next that it’s been cancelled. I’ll rebook once I have a firm reopening date. ... As for colour kits and product orders, I’m not sure how to navigate these yet: I may just do one morning per week for pick ups. Delivery won’t be available as I want to limit my own movement as much as possible. Keep an eye on this page or stories for up-to-date information on that. I know this sucks but it’s what we need to do to curb the spread. We did it before. We can do it again. Please be careful in everything you choose to do and where you go. This year is coming to a close. Can you believe it went so quickly? Changes, heartbreak, and worry seem to have taken centre stage during this tumultuous time. The flip side of that, of course, was hope, strength, and learning. ... I hate any kind change, but I had to change a lot in my business over 2020. I had full intentions of going in a different direction in my career. Due to the pandemic, that quickly shifted to fully moving my salon space in order to maintain status quo as much as I could . I didn’t want to close. I love my industry and I was ready to do anything I could to stay in it. It hasn’t been easy. Even with being shut down for 14 days in August, the increase in overhead and reducing client capacity, I still wanted to maintain a level of normalcy for you guys. Starting in January, you will notice a price increase of 5% on all service fees. I’ve been trying to hold off on an increase for quite some time. However, to maintain a viable business it is necessary to do so. Thank you for being there for me. Thank you for your support. Thank you for your shoutouts, referrals and love. I can’t wait to see you all in 2021! Let’s do this! Stay safe everyone!

Hamilton/Halton has moved into red zone What does this mean for me (us) regarding the salon? I’m still operational at this point. We are one on one and in masks. ... If you’ve visited the suites you know how private they are. HOWEVER, if you have any fear or trepidation in leaving your home, I understand cancelling your appointment I am staying open as long as I’m legally allowed to. My livelihood depends on it. PLEASE send the covid screening form NO earlier than 24 hrs before your appointment Any earlier than that, the form gets out into an online folder sorted by dates. If you send your form too early and public health needs to see the records , it’s hard to back track days and days. Hope that makes sense.

You guys are on it! I think you realized Xmas is only 6 weeks away! I have only a couple of haircut slots left for November. ... And VERY limited spots available in December I want to thank you guys for being proactive and booking your appointments early. Your support hasn’t gone unnoticed . If you didn’t get an appointment booked, never fear! Covid has made my book a bit jumpy. As you’ve seen spots open almost weekly. Get on my list and you can be one of the first contacted when a space opens.

We are all used to the covid protocol form ive been asking you to fill out. There has been a change as per Hamilton’s self-enhanced red zone protocols. Answer yes to any of the questions, you will automatically be rescheduled for a later date and be asked to go home and isolate. ... *note* the first question says new or worsening - that doesn’t stand anymore. ANY listed symptoms , regardless if they are new or not, need to be noted. This is a terrible inconvenience, I know. I have to be screened every time I enter the building as well. Rest assured, I am held to the same standard as all clients, guests and employees. There will be no exceptions. Also. No mask ( has to be worn correctly for the duration) no entry. Bring only what is needed. Call and reschedule if sick or showing signs of illness. Reschedule is a member of your household is sick.
