We are in search of a large outdoor/possible indoor-ish (one of those huge metal buildings maybe?) in hay river for a puppy play date for tomorrow for a litter of puppies reuniting to have a play date. EXTREME COLD WEATHER WARNING Hay River please ensure you bring your pets inside! It is a freezing -50 with the windchill and yes windchill matters! If you feel it so do your pets. Only let them out for small supervised potty breaks. This is expected to last throughout the weekend. We understand that some breeds just prefer the cold and there is nothing wrong with that. Just make sure you are providing some shelter that is insulated so they can get out of the cold wind to he...lp stay warm if they don't want to go in the house. While we love seeing the beautiful bond children have to the animal they grow up with, remember animals require alot of complex care by a responsible adult to ensure it recieves medical attention when required, an appropriate diet and exercise.

Look who came out of her hiding spot today! Juilette is slowly coming out of her shell. She was happy to lay on a perch today instead of hide in her cat tree. We know in the next few weeks she will come out of her shell. Just takes time, patience and love

Gus Gus has really come out his shell! He is a super friendly guy who loves to get pets and cuddles. He was sooo shy when he came in but he has gotten so good with other cats being around and loves people now such a sweetheart and fully vetted and ready for adoption!

Who’s ready for a little Happy Tails Friday! We have gotten quite a few Pup and Kitty updates and we havent been able to post all of them so here is a bunch of updates we’ve gotten we hope you enjoy them as much as we did!

Mocha (was Mochi) has been adopted! Mocha is a recent transfer from the Northern Lights Regional Humane Society and travelled straight to her new home in YK. She has a big family who all adore her and she is fitting right in! Congrats Mocha on ur new home

These three lil ladies have been adopted! Luna Blue (tuxedo) and Rascal (calico) have been adopted together! They are loving their new home and Rascal is proving her namesake! Lil Spooky (all black) has also been adopted and is heading to her new home tomorrow! These three were recent transfers from the Northern Lights Regional Humane Society. We are so happy we have found all 3 loving homes

Simon is available for adoption! Name: Simon (Male) Health info: Neutered, vaccinated/dewormed, approx. 2 years of age Personality: Simon is soooo lovey! He loves to be pet and snuggled. When we get to the shelter he is always huddled up in the corner waiting for us. Seems to like little hidey dark spots but will come out as soon as we get there for some pets. He is friendly but has not been tested with other cats or dogs.

Sweet Girl Mavis has been adopted! Mavis was a recent transfer from the Northern Lights Regional Humane Society and has been staying in her wonderful quiet foster home! She will be moving into her new forever home in the coming weeks! Congrats Mavis

Yin and Yang (was Fig and Prune) have been adopted together Their new owners say they dont go anywhere without each other! They recently came from Northern Lights Regional Humane Society and we were hoping each day they would get adopted together We are so happy they get to live out their lives in each other company! Happy Adoption Day Beautiful Ladies!
