Night shot that Cody took.
Now that the leaves are gone I can see this huge wasp’s nest in the tree. I bet after a few beer I can convince Chipper to poke it with a stick.
Taken by Vincent England last night while hunting. That picture makes the lake look awesome

River is as clear as glass tonight.
Thats what this place is all about, friends and family sharing a meal and many laughs.
When this park was built it was my every intention to start a big family. Im happy to say that most of the park was here to celebrate a wedding and everyone pitched in to help and then when it was time to drink everyone brought wood for a fire. I truly love this place and everyone in it.

So peaceful at the river last night.
Hi Haywood campground on Saturday at 2:00 pm we are going to have a Canada Day parade for the kids we will be beeping our horns and have OCanada playing in the background. Meet at the top at 1:55 Happy Canada day weekend to everyone
What a beautiful evening..Even the beaver is enjoying the weather.
Its very hard to make rules because you have to enforce them. In my opinion I made a beautiful playground and then people started driving threw it making it a mud hole. There is a couple that would love to get married in the park this summer but people driving in it is ruining the grass. If you guys want a mud pit let me know Ill burn the outhouses and the playground equipment and we will have an area to rip up. Its your park why wouldnt you want it to be beautiful?
Grant Andrews you won the saw. You have 4 minutes to claim it or Ally is picking another name haha.
Well not all the tickets sold but I guess we will make the draw today for the chainsaw. Seems fitting to do it on Fathers Day. If you want to get in on this you better get a ticket fast. Ill do the draw around 7ish
Happy Fathers Day to all them great dads out there. Hope you all have a great day. My little girl managed again to sneak a few tears out of my eyes with her message.
And just like that the water is gone and the roads and lots are dry.
This little man fills my heart. He has such an imagination and a huge heart. I hope he never grows up.
Flooding doesnt affect these guys.
This flood sucks a lot but if you have the skill for taking a picture like Wanda even a flood can be beautiful.
Well I have a bit of good news, river went down 3/4
River climbed 6 from yesterday. The first picture is at 111pm yesterday and the second is 906am this morning
Just want to let everyone know that Blake overfilled the camper and caused this. Haha
Rivers a bit high but the clouds are breaking up. Hopefully it will start going down today
Fear not campers. Ill have the campground dry in no time.
Figured we should do another draw. I bought one of these and thought it was handy as hell. Goes a long time on a battery. Only problem is they are very expensive. We will sell the tickets for $20 a piece and once they are sold we will pick numbers out of a hat again. This is only good for people that have 20volt dewalt being that it doesnt have a charger or battery.
We are now in a fire advisory people, you are allowed a fire
Beautiful evening!!
Am I the only person who hasnt heard of "cooler corn"? As an obsessive food nerd, youd expect that I would have at least heard of it, but over the weekend I w...as blind-sided by the simple genius of this method for cooking loads of corn on the cob perfectly. I was hepped to it while visiting my family. Short story: We like corn on the cob. And with eight adults at the table, that means a couple of dozen ears. We would have used the lobster pot to cook them all, but the lobster pot was busy steaming lobster. "Lets do cooler corn!" Before I can ask "what the hell is cooler corn?" a Coleman cooler appears from the garage, is wiped clean, then filled with the shucked ears. Next, two kettles-full of boiling water are poured over the corn and the top closed. Then nothing. When we sat down to dinner 30 minutes later and opened it, the corn was perfectly cooked. My mind was blown. And Im told that the corn will remain at the perfect level of doneness for a couple of hours. Turns out, Cooler Corn is pretty well known among the outdoorsy set But for those of us who avoid tents as much as possible, its perfect for large barbecues and way less of mess than grilling. In fact, I may even buy another cooler just so Im ready for next summer. Now that Im in the know. See more
New sheriff in town. Mind your ps and qs.
