As a community-based arts organization, we would like to acknowledge the systemic violence and racism that pervades our society, and causes harm to Black and Indigenous people. We honour the contributions made by BIPOC Artists and will be taking time to reflect on the ways in which we can do better. We ask that our community reflects on how we can collectively allow more space for these voices to be heard and supported. The arts are a means for connection and self-expression; they have always been essential sources of entertainment, communication, education, and comfort.
