Important Notice for Students Traveling Outside of the Atlantic Bubble for the Christmas Break Students residing inside the Atlantic Bubble who are conside...ring traveling outside of the Bubble for the Christmas Break (December 12, 2020 January 6th, 2021) are reminded that they must follow the steps below in order to be authorized to re-enter the Province of Prince Edward Island. For more information and links to forms that need to be filled out, please refer to your student emails or email the Recruitment Department at [email protected] ______ Follow These Steps 1. Complete the Holland College online Pre-Travel Approval form prior to November 20th, 2020. You will receive a Letter of Permission to Attend (PTA) via email from Holland College. You will be REQUIRED to provide a copy of this letter as part of your Pre-Travel Approval application to the Province of PEI (step 2). A copy of the Letter of Permission to Attend will be required upon entry into the province and country (if applicable). 2. You must also complete the Government of Prince Edward Island’s Pre-Travel Approval form as soon as you receive your Letter of Permission to Attend. You must ensure you have approval from the Government of Prince Edward Island before departing. 3. International students, please ensure that you are eligible to re-enter Canada upon return and exempt from any federal travel restrictions. You are responsible for ensuring your eligibility to re-enter Canada. Holland College is a Designated Learning Institute (DLI ) with a COVID-19 readiness plan that has been approved by IRCC and the Province of Prince Edward Island to receive international students that have an approved study permit and are required to be on campus in order to continue in their program. _______ Please do not travel during the holiday break unless you are certain that you meet all re-entry requirements outlined by the Government of Canada and Province of Prince Edward Island. If your program is continuing with a distance learning method in January 2021 you may not be eligible to re-enter PEI after leaving during the holiday break.

Easter weekend care packages of local dairy products and potatoes will be handed out free this Saturday thanks to a partnership between ADL, the Prince Edward... Island Potatoes and the government of Prince Edward Island. Saturday, April 11, 2020 10am until 3pm or while supplies last Summerside: Credit Union Place parking lot Charlottetown: PEI Government Complex parking lot (on Terry Fox Drive) #SocialDistancing will be honoured. Please stay in your vehicle. Volunteers will place the care package in the trunk. This one-time initiative to help Islanders and families in need; however, it is open to everyone. | COVID-19 Update | In response to the evolving COVID-19 situation, Holland College has made further decisions based on the advice of the Chief Public Health Of...ficer. Effective immediately, the college has moved to essential services delivery until further notice. Managers and supervisors have been in contact with their staff to determine which employees are deemed essential. Non-essential staff will be allowed access to college buildings until 5 p.m. tomorrow, Wednesday, March 18, and will work remotely. College residences remain open at this time. The Centre for Community Engagement (CCE) is now closed until further notice. Holland College has temporarily suspended all on the job training placements, including clinicals and practicums, until further notice, effective at the end of today, Tuesday, March 17. COVID-19 UPDATE Holland College classes at all locations will be suspended effective March 16 to March 20 to allow faculty and staff time to develop alternative... delivery methods. Classes will resume on March 23, using alternate delivery methods for the remainder of the term. Staff and faculty are to report to work as usual. Student practicums and on the job training placements are not affected by this announcement, nor are Holland College’s distance programs. All Holland College buildings (library, residences, Credit Union Café, etc.) will be open, with access for students and staff, but not the general public.
