Happy 10th Anniversary to our dear HILDA Home and to the beautiful residents who live there! We have been blessed to be able to share in your journey these last 10 years. Enhanced Career Bridging Program. Yesterday, we had the pleasure of having a conversational workshop with Coach Christine. We talked about health and wellness, motivation, goalsetting, nutrition, confidence, consistency, how to eat an elephant ...and much, much more. Thanks Coach! Community matters. By working with each other, we build each other up. Thank you for being part of our program.

Our Work Crew would like to say Thank You to Dave and Joanne Doepker from Sobeys. We were completing our regular maintenance at the Quill Centre last week in the chilly wind. The hot chocolate was a perfect way to start the morning off and warm up.

Leaders become great not because of their power but, because of their ability to empower others. This amazing human needs no introduction. Juanine Korte, has been our Executive Director at Humboldt and District Community Services for the last 20 years.And, what a wonderful 20 years they have been. Juanine directly supports every person in this organization from residents, clients, staff, board members and families. She is the pulse, the heartbeat, and the breath of HDCS. Sh...e truly IS an amazing person. As a leader, an employer, colleague, support person and friend, she has not faltered once over the past 20 years let alone the past 7 months. She has done what she always does, guiding with faith, flexibility, creativity, and strength, and all the while doing this quietly, resiliently, and selflessly. Juanine is a busy mom to Morgan, Abbie and Adam. She lives in Muenster with her husband Garrett and children. When she is not cheering at the hockey rink you will see her at the baseball diamond.
