Anytime a family invites me to take photographs for them, I’m reminded of how lucky I am to be a part of their lives. We met Jacqueline and her parents at Victoria park so their two dogs could take us all for a walk! They were so friendly and well behaved.... so were the dogs! But mostly, I adored how much this family loved one another. There’s nothing quite like being able to observe a close family and how they make each other laugh and smile.

It was time for little baby Rafael Marko Ramirez to get baptized on Sunday August 14th of 2016. Mom and dad were ready to face a hot humid end of summer day that promised to unwind into a great afternoon, seeing old friends and family. The godparents were so excited to contribute on their part and take their new commitments as spiritual parents of our little guy.

I was really excited when I was asked to photograph Erminia, Stevan, Ivan, Shae, and Ema before their prom.They not only looked fantastic, they shared so much love. The girls were best friends, and their guys clearly loved them. It was very sweet. I hope they had a blast, and I hope they love their photos!

First communions are so lovely to document.beautiful girl, beautiful dress, spring in the air, and parents looking lovingly at their daughter wondering how the time went by so fast.

For their session, Janet and Aaron chose beautiful Rockwood Park. It's so nice this time of year. Moderate temps, low crowds and we still had some nice fall colours. We had a blast going all over the park and I think we would still be there shooting if we hadn't run out of light... we can't wait for their wedding to roll around. Here are some favorites....

Over the last weekend I had the chance to meet with the whole Skorvaga family all 8 of them .... two family's and Grandma too! :) The Skorvaga Family proves that Family is where the Heart is....here is three generations of unity and love captured in few memorable pictures.
