A patient shared with us: I was in for an emergency appendectomy and the care I received at @HeadwatersHCC was out of this world incredible! These frontline workers have such an overwhelmingly tough job and since the pandemic started, I am sure it’s been horrendous at times. Thank you again for the care and compassion I received there. When Kaitlyn’s seven-month-old son Rhett suffered from a persistent fever she feared for the worst; that her son had somehow been exposed to COVID-19. She made an appointment with her family doctor who recommended that she get a viral swab done as well as a COVID-19 test. Children under the age of two can only be tested in an Emergency Department so Kaitlyn immediately drove with her son from East Garafraxa to Headwaters Health Care Centre. ...
