#repost @realdepressionproject I recall the first time I spoke about my racism experience. My childhood experience was the hardest to speak about because I was carrying shame around it most of my life. In my counselling program I learned it was safe to talk about. I had 2 classmates that were Canadian and of European heritage and they encouraged me to talk and supported. I am sharing this because I learned being in connection with others and sharing is healing. If you have any experience with shame, please reach out to someone you trust.

I have not posted in awhile as I like to take breaks. I had a photo shoot this past November, 2020 @katerynary.art . I really love this picture of me hence I am sharing. It's also my birthday and I am on my 52nd year. I feel at peace, mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually. I have no hurry and of course there is always learning and I welcome that.
