Happy Halloween everyone!

I didn’t get a picture today but I got to meet this little girls brand new baby brother for his first craniosacral session this morning. I am a lucky therapist! There is something amazing about how newborns know themselves so well - and are quite good at showing me where they have restrictions. Often they don’t need much of my help as long as my hands are supporting their body. They stretch, push, burp, coo, and sigh while they work out their tensions on my table. So thanks to baby A today for spending some time with us here at the clinic. I know you will have a great sleep this afternoon and hopefully your Mom will to!

This confirms some things that we already know but its nice when they write up some of the current research. This article talks about how fear and anxiety are not separate departments - they exist in similar overlapping areas of the brain. This research may also speak to the why anxiety and fear can be challenging to navigate because they are so closely interwoven and processed in the brain.

I don’t know about hacking’but maybe accessing? All of these are good self care tools.
