Cheers to 2021 This drink is perfect for ringing in the New Year! It’s full of gut-friendly nutrients to stimulate the digestive juices before your holiday meals, providing both probiotic and prebiotic benefits!... The grapefruit in this recipe has the amazing benefits of providing calcium d’glucarate, a phytochemical that helps your liver detoxify harmful estrogens & toxins. This is truly a hormone supportive alternative to that glass of wine or champagne! Citrus Kombucha Mocktail Makes 4 servings 1 cup raw kombucha (preferably unflavoured), chilled Juice of 1 grapefruit, chilled Juice of 1 orange or 2 mandarin oranges, chilled 1 tsp raw honey or maple syrup (optional - I didn't do as it was sweet enough ) 2 tsp grated raw ginger (optional) 1/2 cup pomegranate seeds 1. Mix the kombucha, grapefruit juice, orange juice and honey or maple syrup (if using) in a pitcher. Add the ginger. 2. Pour into 2-oz cocktail glasses. 3. Sprinkle some of the pomegranate seeds into each glass. Serve. I went out to a local farm to pick raspberries but they only did u-pick on Tues, Thurs & Sat! ..so what did I do ..well I bought more veggies of course! ...
