Stress is a common reason to our indulgence in negative habits. When you're stressed, your body produces cortisol (stress hormone) which can drastically reduce your ability to control your behaviour, which leads to indulging in those bad habits. There is so much pressure to perform at our optimal level. These pressures come from both internal and external factors. Remember! No one is perfect and cannot sustain 100% of their efforts forever. Take a break and do some self-care. When you care for yourself, you will be prepared to function at your best when you need to.
