A must read! Nya is eight years old and wanted to write a book and sell it in the hope that she could make enough money to move into a place where her and her mommy could have a dog. So with her imaginative ideas and her auntie Amira's writing talents, they wrote and published Aminitas Journey. It is a young readers chapter book, but a great read for any age! The story is about a girl who has the ability to speak with animals. Amanita and her pet snake, Sly, find themselves lost in the woods. As they travel, trying to find their way home, they run into several animals. Some join the journey and some offer them wisdom as many issues that people are facing today are discussed in a way that children can understand. Issues like bullying and racism as well as mental health are explored on this adventurous journey.

This looks good! Here is the recipe. Enjoy! INGREDIENTS 1/2 cup quick-cooking rolled oats... Coarse salt and ground pepper Nonstick cooking spray 1 large egg 2 tablespoons shredded sharp cheddar 1 tablespoon thinly sliced scallion greens DIRECTIONS In a small saucepan, bring 1 cup water to a boil. Add oats and pinch of salt; stir, reduce heat, and simmer until tender, about 5 minutes. Meanwhile, heat a small nonstick pan over medium. Coat lightly with cooking spray. Add egg and cook until white is set and yolk is still runny, about 3 minutes. Season egg to taste with salt and pepper. Serve oatmeal in a bowl topped with cheese, egg, and scallion greens.
