This year. New Years was weird, different, unique and still amazing! It was what we all made of it. Focused on the positive, moving forward and being mindful in the moment is what we did. Found a skating rink, played some family hockey, watched the fireworks almost everywhere along our drive home (soooo awesome to see the sky explode with colourful beauty!) At the last light in Spruce Grove, we could see the Stony Plain Fireworks display, just awesome!!! I always feel like a... little kid when I’m watching them light up the sky. It’s funny. As I took this photo, I thought, how ironic it is to have the red lights - saying stop, enjoy the light show, while the arrows say keep moving forward. Now. Onward and upward.
