Healthy Shores is brought to you by the people behind one of Canada’s oldest West Coast canneries. The St. Jean’s family have been working in the business of fish for more than 60 years now. Pictured here are Armand and Betty who moved to Vancouver Island in the 1950s. What started as a passion for smoking oysters in the family smokehouse soon grew into a full-fledged business that still supplies a variety of sustainable seafood products today.

Meet Bravo. He lives a 10-minute walk to Departure Bay, he loves dock diving, digging in the sand, and a good game of beach Frisbee. He also loves showing off all his tricks to the kids on the beach of Long Lake. #healthyshorespets

While mercury poisoning from fish consumption is a major concern globally, the source of Healthy Shores Albacore Tuna has been found to have zero to negligible trace amounts. Fish harvested in this area are typically 3 -4 years old and weigh no more than 24 pounds which means they are too young to have accumulated any harmful levels of mercury.

What is rotational feeding? Many pet owners prescribe to feeding their pets the same food day in and day out. However, there are health benefits to rotating protein (wet food, dry food, raw) including helping ease food allergies, intolerances, and sensitives that can be exacerbated by eating the same food, creating healthier digestive systems by introducing more beneficial bacteria and providing your pet with more amino acids thanks to the variety in proteins. To learn more about our line-up of proteins for pets visit our product page: https://healthyshores.com
