So this is the end... kinda. We're still open until 8, and next week we'll open from 10 to 2-ish each day to try and sell off any remaining stock (still lots of deals!), but won't be serving any food. Nevertheless, I would just like to say a few words of thanks. Thank-you to all of our loyal customers. Without you we wouldn't have made it to 2016. It has been great to meet you and have you here, enjoying the fruits of our labor. Thank-you to my family and friends, who went ...out of their way to support us. But most of all, I would like to thank the staff of Healy's Deli, both past and present. You put up with my moodiness, my frantic scrambles, and my frustrated rants. You forgave me when I screwed up your pay, and you were all ready to bend over backwards to try and make things work. And somehow you all became a part of my life; no small feat with a cynical introvert like me! I guess what I'm trying to say is thank-you to everyone who made this exhausting experience so much fun. Despite the stress and effort of 12+ hour days and never having enough money, I awoke each day happy and ready to take on the world. None of that would be possible without any of you.
