COVID-19 Update: The Hearing House is open for emergency appointments only. Additional procedures are in effect to protect visitors and clinic staff as outlined below. We thank you for your cooperation. Dr. MacLean will be available by text, phone, or email to help address any non emergency hearing issues. The clinic waiting room and washroom are closed. Patients with appointments are asked to arrive at their scheduled time and to access the clinic via the rear entrance.... Dr. MacLean will conduct the entire appointment wearing a N95 mask and gloves. Patients will be greeted outside the rear entrance and their temperature will be taken with an aural (in the ear) thermometer. Patients within the normal range will be admitted to their appointment. All patients admitted to the clinic must use the hand washing station upon entry, following the posted hand washing procedures. Any coughing during the appointment will require a patient to wear a surgical mask (provided), and may result in the appointment being rescheduled. Thank you again for your cooperation, and stay safe.

I just learned there is a long wait list for children to have a hearing test with public health. The Hearing House is fully equipped for testing kids, there is no need to wait or travel off coast. Call today for an appointment 604 885-0941.
The Hearing House Skating Party this afternoon was a sweet way to begin my Christmas break. Thanks to everyone who joined me for some fun and cake (made with care at the Sunshine Coast Cupcakery, thanks Rachel).

Speaking and singing requires some of the fastest acting muscles of our body to produce a vast array of intricate sound combinations that allow us to communicate our thoughts and emotions with precision and finesse. ...Continue reading
