Hi Everyone At our last monthly meeting Heartland COP has made the decision to not have our meetings open to the public due to privacy concerns of information discussed. Moving forward we will be hosting Open houses and attending public events to get the word out about what Heartland COP is about. This will take some time to get stuff planned due to Covid restrictions. Fort Saskatchewan RCMP seize drugs and cash during traffic stop ... Fort Saskatchewan, Alta On October 5, 2020 at 11:45 pm, While patrolling the downtown core, members of the Fort Saskatchewan conducted a vehicle stop. RCMP members identified the driver, and determined he was breaching conditions of his probation order in relation to unrelated matters. As a result, the driver was taken into custody. A search incidental to arrest was completed and the following items were seized: Over 60 grams of Marijuana, and $2880.00 dollars in Canadian Currency, suspected of being proceeds of crime. As a result of the investigation, a 19-year-old male from Edmonton, was charged with the following offences including: Possession of Cannabis for the Purpose of Selling Fail to Comply with Probation Order x3 He was released from custody on conditions and is set to appear in Fort Saskatchewan Provincial Court on November 5, 2020 -30-
