Herstory in the making.... this was our first action as @grrrrljustice back at the #iwd march in 2016. My heart is heavy that we aren’t out in the streets this year but the love and community that we created lives on and we will be back out in the streets drumming, chanting, dancing our resistance and celebration soon. Until then we will keep chanting WHO’S THE BOSS OF MY BODY? I AM!!!

Walking as pilgrimage... This is the tree that I walk to on my solo morning or these days afternoon walks. I've loved seeing the tree change through the seasons and having a special spot as the destination for my walk. Then my good friend @angelaparvati shared an amazing article on turning your pandemic walks into mini pilgrimages and it really resonates and affirmed my love for walkikg to my special tree spot. Long shadows in winter sun! Although we have made it past the mark of midwinter these snowy days are reminding us that winter is not over yet. At the new moon ritual I recently held we talked about embracing the dark, quiet time that winter offers... This is the time we need for new life to begin growing in the dark womb of creation.
