Got my babies up on my wall

{ Project - Life in 52 } Week 13 - 52 - 2021 When both your built-in playmates are at school I guess you have lunch with your bear named Egg Nog <3. This table was given to my Grandma for her 3rd birthday. It has been many different colours over the years. It was yellow when we played with it when I was a kid, I believe it was blue before that, and now it is red for my children. I wonder what colour my kids will paint it for my Grandchildren.

{ Project - Life in 52 } Week 11 - 52 - 2021 Cayden’s top front tooth was about to fall out so I wanted to get a last little kid photo of him before his face changed forever, which turned into this little photo shoot of all my precious littles . Pretty sure these are all going to be framed on my mantle by the end of the week. It turned out to be good timing because 3 hours later he was eating pizza and the tooth fell out!! New face photo coming soon

{ Project - Life in 52 } Week 5 - 52 - 2021 I like playing games but there are not a ton of actual games you can play with a 2 year old. One game I've been able to adapt is playing Connect 4, except as he happily drops pieces down where ever on his turn, I strategically try and make as many ‘connections of 4’ as I can while also trying to block him. He is none the wiser, but is entertained all the same, and so am I. Win-Win.

{ Project - Life in 52 } Week 4 - 52 - 2021 One blessing Covid life has brought our family, like many, is more family time. Popcorn & Movie Night has become a regular thing on Saturday nights since there’s no where else to go, and nothing else to do! The kids have got quite the set up with their bean bag chairs, blankets and stuffies. Tayo knows exactly what we need and gets everything out and ready to make popcorn. Our system is down pat. It’s been fun showing the kids original Disney movies and movies Jason and I enjoyed as a kid.

{ Project - Life in 52 } Week 3 - 52 - 2021 Tayo LOVES to help. He actually pushes me out of the way and will get mad at me if I try and do the laundry or unload the dishwasher with out him. He's my little helper buddy <3

{ Project - Life in 52 } Week 2 - 52 - 2021 Two words for this week = Home.Learning. All Alberta families with elementary aged school aged kids get it. So glad its back to normal tomorrow!!

{ Project - Life in 52 } 3 years ago I did my first Life in 52 project, where I intentionally pick up my big camera regularly and capture the simple, and sometimes not so simple things that make up my life. I completed this project 2 years in a row, and I adore the finish product of each of them. Some how I knew 2020 I needed a break but in 2021 I am excited to pick this project up again. I love how it forces me to be in the moment, notice the little things as well as see lig...ht in a different way.
